As well as buying your new, unused cartridges, TonerMan also offer a recycling service where we can take away your empty toner and ink cartridges.

Why Recyle?

Our main aim behind this scheme is to reduce the amount of used toner and ink cartridges that come from printer, fax machines and photocopiers; from being dumped in landfill sites across the UK. Currently only 15% of the 65 million cartridges that are purchased in the UK are being recycled. This means that more than 55 million cartridges are currently going to landfill, which is bad news for our environment as an average cartridge is expected to take up to 1000 years to decompose!

How Does It Work?

When you sign up to use our recycling scheme you will be given the option of having either one of our storage bags or free standing boxes to store your empty cartridges in. These are designed to hold around 15 - 20 cartridges. Once this bag/box is nearly full all you have to do is call or email us to arrange a collection. You will be given a unique reference number to place on the bag/box in order for you to track the collection. One of our drivers will then collect from you within 5 working days, and also leave you a new recycling bag/box to start the cycle over again.

What Are The Costs?

Our recycling service is charged at a small fee of £15.00 plus VAT for each bag/box that needs collecting.  If you have a large number of cartridges, such as numerous pallets, then please call or email for a quotation.
